All the characters that were once exclusive to a platform are here on Switch, while Kung Foot gains a tournament mode with local WiFi support (which does not apply to the main game) but that is just it. This version offers some new content but none is particularly exciting. It’s Rayman Legends, an excellent game – and yes, we have 1080p – but definitive? Do not. The Switch version has much more in common with the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions in some ways.
Wii U, Xbox One, PS4 – all offer a better experience. Beautiful as always, Legends fits well with the Nintendo hybrid, but there is a problem: its name is Definitive Edition when in fact this conversion is full of flaws that do not correspond to the meaning of the name.
